The Annuity Direct Salesforce (ADSC) QA/Test Strategy Lead ("test lead") will be the key tester on Salesforce Sales Cloud for the ADSC project.
The test lead is responsible for the creation, maintenance and management of the project test strategy.
They are also required to understand the business, functional and non-functional requirements and develop effective system, integration and component testing strategies and plans.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the testing strategy and execution for Salesforce.com Sales Cloud under the Annuity Direct Sales Cloud project.
Methodically implement test plans and defect reports. Includes low-level unit testing to higher-level systems integration and performance analysis.
Responsible for supporting the planning, monitoring, and control of the testing activities for multiple applications on the project. Specifically, testing status, coordination of testing, and both coordination and communication of ADSC test results for all systems under the project. Not all of these applications will integrate with SFDC, however if they are in scope and have changes to support the project then the activities for these systems will fall under the responsibility of the test lead
Provide necessary test documentation to support the change management requests for the project
Develop test beds for Salesforce testing as well as those systems that integrate with Salesforce
Conduct and/or actively participate in meetings related to the project with clients and/or other consultants
Advises and recommends organizational testing strategies, processes and methodologies
Shares best practices, lessons learned and knowledge with the rest of the team
Identifies implementation risks and analyzes potential impacts on the enterprise, the project and on the achievement of scheduled objectives
Required Skills
Experience testing IT applications developed using Salesforce
Ability to analyze complex systems and failure modes and identify testing strategies based on those findings
Ability to learn quickly and deliver high quality test plans in a fast paced, dynamic team environment.
Testing effort and duration estimation skills and experience
Solid experience in System Testing, Integration Testing, Component Testing, using positive and negative testing, and UAT
Experience in waterfall as well as Agile methodologies
Experience in writing Test Plans, Test Cases and Test scripts
Experience with Test automation tools (HP ALM strongly preferred)
Good understanding and experience in Test Data preparation
Excellent understanding of Testing Metrics and solid experience in using metrics to perform quality trend analysis and defect density forecasts
Excellent Communication and Presentation skills,
Critical analysis and decision making, Creative thinking, Problem solving.
