Job Description: 

The source code is currently maintained in Harvest, which is in the process of being replaced by Azure DevOps and GitHub. These applications need to be migrated from the legacy Harvest environment to the new Azure and GitHub DevOps environment. 

This project will ensure the viability of the application source code and build process for future maintenance and enhancements. The second goal of this effort is to document these applications to better enable future support and enhancements of these applications given there is not a dedicated developer supporting these applications for the department.

Responsibilities: 

  • Run current legacy builds as a migration control.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team the creation of new pipelines and process for the client applications.
  • Facilitate application tests with the IT Lead and client.
  • Perform Analysis, testing, debugging, implementation and documentation
  • Create application and data diagrams for the migrated applications
  • Produce estimates of time and resources required to perform various tasks. 
  • Work as directed by DoIT management to meet DevOps and documentation standards and best practices. 
  • Must be comfortable taking appropriate steps to protect any regulated data.

Required Skills:

  • Development experience in Azure DevOps including pipeline creation, testing, etc. 5 Years
  • Development experience with GitHub - specifically working w/integration of Azure DevOps and GitHub. 5 Years
  • C# (including experience w/legacy code as well). 5 Years
  • MS Visual Studio. 5 Years
  • SQL Server (2016 through current) – including experience developing on SQL Server backend and w/Stored Procedures as they’re used in the financial application. 5 Years
  • Crystal Reports – creating/maintaining/modifying reports. 5 Years
  • Experience creating detailed technical documentation for applications. 5 Years
