As a Business Analyst on the Vision Next Issuance Platform team, you’ll play a key role in modernizing card management for financial institutions. Acting as the bridge between clients, product management, and development teams, you’ll transform complex business needs into actionable requirements for our cloud-native, API-first platform.
This role blends technical expertise, analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of payments and the card issuance lifecycle. You’ll help shape the future of digital payments and financial innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Elicitation
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements for new features and enhancements.
Documentation
· Develop detailed epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and process flows using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Stakeholder Management
· Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to ensure alignment on project scope, requirements, and priorities.
Solution Design
· Partner with development and QA teams to refine requirements, validate feasibility, and support solution design and implementation.
Testing & Validation
· Support test case creation and assist QA in validating solutions against defined business requirements.
Problem-Solving
· Investigate and troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose corrective measures.
Agile Collaboration
· Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Required Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
· 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within financial services, FinTech, or payments.
· Proven experience with card issuance platforms, payment processing, or card management systems.
· Strong understanding of the card lifecycle, including:
ü Cardholder enrollment
ü Authorizations
ü Disputes
ü Loyalty and rewards programs
· Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
· Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
· Excellent communication skills — able to bridge business and technical conversations.
· Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, QA, client delivery).
Good to Have: -
· Experience working on cloud-native platforms.
Preferred Qualifications: -
· Experience documenting and managing API-based requirements.
· Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
· Prior experience in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment.
· Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and analysis.
