About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Java / DB2 Developer to support the CRTS application. You will build and enhance backend services running on WebSphere Application Server, with a strong focus on performance, stability, and readiness for future migration to AWS and OpenShift.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services using JDK & Spring Boot.
• Build, optimize, and troubleshoot DB2 SQL, stored procedures, and views.
• Deploy and support systems on WebSphere Application Server (WAS 9) using RAD.
• Participate in Agile CI/CD workflows using GitHub & Jenkins.
• Provide production support, perform root cause analysis, and lead performance tuning initiatives.

Expertise – Mandatory

• Exp:7-10 yrs
• 5+ years enterprise Java development (Collections, OOP, exception handling).
• Strong hands-on DB2 experience (SQL, procedures, tuning).
• Practical experience with WebSphere Application Server (WAS 9).
• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot and RESTful service development.
• Working knowledge of GitHub, Jenkins, and Agile delivery.
• Experience with code reviews and enterprise SDLC best practices.

Expertise – Great Addition

• Exposure to Docker and containerized deployments.
• Familiarity with AWS and OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Healthcare, pharmacy, or retail experience (CVS preferred).

Primary Skill Set:

• Stack: Core Java, Spring Boot, DB2, WebSphere (WAS 9), GitHub, Jenkins, AWS/OpenShift (nice to have)
