Job Description:

Client is seeking a QMS Manager to lead and own the Quality Management System within the Automotive department, ensuring workflows and documentation are standardized, efficient, and aligned with automotive industry standards. The QMS Manager will drive continuous improvement, support team adherence to quality standards, and maintain readiness for audits. This role is critical to ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and alignment with industry best practices across Automotive teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the Automotive department’s Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with industry standards and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, documentation, and operational processes to ensure adherence to defined quality standards.
• Monitor compliance with ISO 9001, ASPICE and other applicable automotive standards, providing guidance and support to teams as needed.
• Facilitate training and awareness programs to instill a quality-focused culture across the Automotive department.
• Collaborate with management to define quality objectives, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and report on quality metrics and compliance status to management.
• Support the preparation of documentation and evidence required for external audits and certifications.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external consultants on QMS initiatives, providing guidance and support to team leads and members.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Management, Compliance, or Operations, preferably in automotive or software development environments.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ASPICE standards and quality management principles.  
• Experience with process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN, Camunda) and project tracking platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive adoption of processes.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of additional standards of the automotive industry (e.g., ISO 27001, TISAX, IATF 16949).
• Certification as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor.
• Prior experience coordinating with external consultants or certification bodies.
• Experience managing QMS in a software development environment.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency
