About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Data Architect to design and implement modern data architecture solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric and the broader Azure ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data lakehouse architecture, data integration, and analytics frameworks to drive enterprise-wide data modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end data architecture solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
  • Define and establish data governance, security, and metadata management standards across the data platform.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines and dataflows for ingestion, transformation, and analytics.
  • Architect and integrate OneLake, Power BI, and Synapse Data Warehouse components.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to design scalable data models and semantic layers.
  • Lead data modernization and migration initiatives from legacy systems to Microsoft Fabric.
  • Implement best practices for performance optimization, monitoring, and data quality management.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering and BI teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or data platform design.
  • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric Data Engineering Platform - OneLake, Power BI, Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Strong understanding of data lakehouse concepts, data mesh, and data fabric patterns.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL design.
  • Experience integrating data from diverse sources (structured, semi-structured, and unstructured).
  • Solid grasp of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks (e.g., RBAC, Purview).
