We are looking for QA Tester for one of our clients in NYC, please find below the JD: 

seeking a QA Automation and performance engineer with Selenium Automation Testing. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios and conduct performance testing of applications using Load runner.
The ideal candidate for the position of Automation Engineer will have proven experience to design, develop and maintain automated test cases using tools and framework along with functional, regression, integration and end-to-end tests.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1.      Build detailed test plans and test schedules

2.      Build automation frameworks for web and mobile applications

3.      Write detailed low-level test cases and test protocols

4.      Provide feedback to Development on requirement/specification clarity and understanding to support proper testing method development

5.      Working cross-functionally with other engineering teams, developer tools, designers and project management teams

6.      Assure proper root cause analysis and drive timely issue resolution of Product Issues

7.      Debugging large and complex automation codebase to assess the root cause of test failure

8.      Mobile and browser compatibility testing

9.      Work with various team to promote QA processes, practices and standardization

1.      Analysis of test results to expose potential performance issues. Root cause analysis of poorly performing applications and determine performance bottlenecks

Preferred Qualifications:

1.      5+ years of working experience in software Quality Assurance and Testing field. Advance knowledge with Microfocus LoadRunner Enterprise/Professional is a plus.

2.      4+ years of experience in developing, customizing, executing, and organizing automated test.

3.      2+ years of experience in Test Automation using Selenium including Framework development, Framework maintenance, Framework Optimization, Automation Strategizing, Automation Planning and Automation Test Execution

4.      Develop reusable performance scripts by using different LoadRunner protocols including but not limited to web HTTP/HTTPS, SOAP/XML, RESET, OBDB, JDC and .NET

5.      Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle

6.      Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
