Summary:

This position is responsible for the testing of complex systems/processes, undertaking analysis, design, and planning, and has a broad knowledge of QA methods and practices. This role will be interacting with developers and business clients to ensure understanding of requirements and accurate testing, therefore communication with people of different backgrounds is essential. Additionally, the individual will lead the improvement of testing practices with an eye toward automation. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform testing of changes with little or no supervision
• Create Test Plans and Test Cases from requirements
• Document defects
• Document test results for review and acceptance by clients
• Review testing tools and make recommendations based upon AHCCCS needs
• Design and recommend test automation framework/tools
• Implement and support approved automation designs
• Identify test cases suitable for automation

Skills/Experience:

• Strong Knowledge in QA methods and practices
• Experience testing mainframe applications including batch processes
• Experience testing web based applications
• Experienced using ALM and its capabilities
• Familiar with other testing tools and their capabilities
• Knowledgeable in QA automation techniques and their implementation
• Experience with healthcare applications
• Knowledgeable in HIPAA rules
• Strong communication skills
• Self starter
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
