To provide customer service for the Support Units of GTRI and assist the Systems Support team of the Information Systems Department in the day to day IT operations. Provide unit level support in the installation, operation and maintenance of computer systems. Position typically addresses issues of moderate complexity, receiving general instructions on routine work and more specific direction on new assignments.
Work Schedule: Telework 50% remote, 50% onsite, However, it is determined by the need for each week.
Provide technical support for users that submit help requests to the Jira ticketing system and the help desk phone line. Create and update Windows workstation images. Install, maintain and upgrade workstation and peripheral hardware and software. Respond to and resolve workstation and application related problems. Update desktop software/applications; maintain documentation on installed applications. Create and manage user accounts in Exchange Admin Center and Active Directory. Provide users with assistance in working in specific applications. Maintain/troubleshoot office related equipment and applications such as VoIP phones, copiers, fax machines, printers, building access system and email accounts. Perform other related duties as assigned.
