Interview Type: Skype *** Very long term project; initial PO for 1 year, expect to go for 4+ years *** Remote Project 

The contractor must have extensive experience building and .Net/C# based REST API services and Web Applications. Must possess detailed understanding and experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio, .Net and .Net Core frameworks. 

The contractor will work with Business Owners in the translation of customer requests into technical request and user stories, coordinates software release schedules with the Business and Technical Team, develops business requirements, and provides testing and training support. This individual must have proven experience with enterprise level software development programs. 

Must collaborate with IT management and business users to translate business requirements into user stories for the development team to implement. 

Knowledge of sprint and release planning as required. Ensure clearly defined Acceptance Criteria, testing criteria are captured and followed throughout. 

Ability to analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, and business processes. Document the program and project deliverables as assigned. Consult with clients to prototype, refine, and test, and debug applications and processes to meet needs.

Skills:

  • Strong Experience with C# development of REST APIs, SOAP and Web Apps.
  • Experience with Git based repositories and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in HTML, CSS.
  • Experience with XML/XSL, JSON.
  • Experience with JavaScript, jQuery.
  • Knowledge of bootstrap is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. This may include writing state approved documentation pertaining to projects, procedures, and analysis.
  • Must be able to lead and motivate others to accomplish a common goal across a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and support .Net/C# based REST API and Web Applications. 
  • Capable of extracting business rules and working with clients as required.
  • Clearly communicating status reports, in verbal and written form.
  • Collaborating as a dedicated team member and demonstrating the ability to clearly communicate with other team members.

Required skills:

  • Detailed understanding and experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio, .Net framework. 7 Years
  • Detailed understanding and experience working .Net Core framework. 2 Years
  • Experience with .Net logging tool like SeriLog 1 Years
  • Experience with SOAP UI, Swagger UI and POSTMAN tools for testing SOAP and REST API 3 Years
  • Experience in XML/XSL, JSON, JavaScript, jQuery 2 Years
  • Experience with Git based repositories 3 Years

Desired skills:

  • Experience in JSON Web Token (JWT) 1 Years
  • Experience with ORM tool like Dapper 2 Years

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Azure DevOps 2 Years
