Working Job Title: Information Technology Consultant

 

Background: 

RICS: Relationally Integrated Computer System (RICS) application modernization for the Division of Oil & Gas Resources Management (DOGRM) well information system is currently a Microsoft Access user interface with a SQL Server backend (known as RBDMS) that is to be converted to a web-based application hosted within the Azure cloud.

RBDMS  As noted above, the legacy system is a Microsoft Access user interface with a SQL Server backend.  This system is still in operation and DOGRM needs a staff augmentation that will work with the internal users to defined a roadmap to sunset the legacy system.

 

 

Requirements 

  • (MS-Access / SQL Server) Someone that can understand MS-Access to resolve the bi-directional sync issues working closely with JMT DBA
  • (Expert) - 7+ year with MS-Access & SQL Server (TSQL) development
  • (Expert) - 7+ year with creating Stored Procedures and Triggers to assist with creating bi-directional sync between RICS and JMT.
  • (Expert) - 7+ year with creating SQL queries to perform data clean up or orphan data
  • (OnBase) Ability to resolve OnBase issues when transferring legacy documents (RBDMS) into OnBase with RICS taxonomy (i.e., OnBase schedule DIP process). 
  • 5+ year experience with OnBase
  • (ETL) Someone who can write/document ETL processes and define business logic for approval from RICS business Product Owner
  • Expert - 7+ year creating ETL process between systems
  • (Analysis) Someone that can review a legacy system (RBDMS) and document functionality 
  • (Analysis) Someone who can work with the business Product Owner to create a strategy road map to stand down a legacy system (RBDMS) in a priority order (over the next 2+ years)
  • (Requirements) Someone who can facilitate workgroup sessions to document requirements for functionality to be removed from legacy system (RBDMS) and obtain consensus from workgroup on path forward.  
  • (Requirements) Ability to provide sufficient details on the requirements so that a vendor can estimate building functionality from the legacy system into RICS
  • (ADO) Document all requirements in ADO
  • (Visio) Someone who can use Visio to document the sync process
  • (Agile) 3+ Years experience one who has live the Agile/SCRUM software methodology
  • (Soft Skills) Someone with excellent soft skills
