Required Skills- APIGEE or API Developer but APIGEE is must

Required Skills

  • Experience in Design and Develop API proxies using Google Apigee Edge Platform 
  • Experience in document and maintain industry standards related to REST API designs in Swagger, OpenAPI Specification etc. knowledge of graphQL. 
  • Hands on experience developing and deploying APIs or API Products in APIGEE EDGE API Mgmt platform End to End API lifestyle delivery including design, development, testing and publishing to the API developer portal. 
  • Exposure of Apigee Monetization and Apigee X is a plus 
  • Experience with the design and development of the REST APIs. 
  • Implement requirements of the API Layer like security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, monetization, request and response modifications etc using Apigee Platform 
  • Good understanding of design and development of security architecture or policies with SSL, TLS, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, SAML, Encryption, Public Private Keys, Certificate Configurations, Transport Layer Security, OWASP 
  • Experience with middleware, web services, and related standards such as REST, SOAP, Messaging, Broker, JMS, Kafka 
  • Create custom policies in Java, JavaScript, Node JS etc in Apigee. 
  • Experienced in building and managing REST APIs. 
  • Demonstrate the technical solution with Proof of Concept if required 
  • Experience with various Test tools required - Postman, SOAP UI etc 
  • Experience with DevOps tools like CI/CD Pipeline for API promotions 
  • Experience with Orchestration tool such as Kubernetes is a plus. 
  • Experience with tools & applications such as JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, Git and Artifactory or Maven.
