**** W2 or 1099 or  c2c ***webcam interview *****Long term  project;  usually the project goes for multiple years with this customer. Candidate must work couple of days per week onsite and remaining remote. *** Proof of vaccination required before starting the project***

PeopleSoft HCM is the Districts system of record for HCM, which includes HR information, organizational data, business units, locations, compensation, T&A, Benefits, Payroll and others.  

All Inbound and Outbound Integrations from PeopleSoft to Mainframe (SOAR) will be decommissioned and new Integrations with DIFS (Oracle ERP Cloud) will be established. Reports and Internal customizations have to be replaced too. 

The QA Tester will test PeopleSoft HCM Integrations with DIFS to meet the project objectives and support new or expanding business objectives.  This will include requirements review/analysis, creating test cases, test case execution and creating defects for the new or updated software applications.

Candidate must have technical proficiency for testing Software Applications along with proficiency in MircoFocus Test Tools ALM (Application Lifecycle Management).  Candidates should be able to participate in the entire development lifecycle from design through deployment.   Ability to perform requirements review, write test cases, execute test cases, and create defects is essential.  Be able to communicate to the Project Team for defects/issues identified during testing.

The QA Tester will be working in a supportive and fast-paced PeopleSoft HCM and DIFS Teams.

The Candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Extensive experience in Testing PeopleSoft HCM applications.
  • Extensive experience in Testing PeopleSoft Payroll jobs. Experience and knowledge in running End-to-End Payroll cycle. Knowledge in loading time from Time & Labor, Paysheets, Pay calculation, Pay confirmation and other jobs that relate to Payroll Processing.
  • Extensive experience in Testing PeopleSoft HR and Position Management. 
  • Extensive experience in Testing PeopleSoft HCM batch jobs, Interfaces, and validating results.
  • Extensive experience in Testing PeopleSoft online Components and code.  
  • Extensive experience in Testing Reports.
  • Good SQL skills to write SQLs to fetch data from PS tables, for validating table data and testing.
  • Highly desired (not required): Knowledge of PeopleSoft Commitment Accounting. Knowledge of GL and AP functionality.
  • Highly desired (not required): Federal and/or State and/or Local Governments experience.
  • Desired (not required): Prior experience and Knowledge of financial systems.
  • Desired (not required): Prior experience and Knowledge of integration between HCM to financial systems.
  • Communication with project management, clients, and other developers to ensure effective collaboration throughout the testing phase.
  • Maintaining a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives, and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully
  • Direct interaction with clients, managers, and end users as necessary to analyze project objectives and capability requirements, including specifications for user interfaces, customized applications and interaction with the team.
  • Collaboration with various internal departments, including development and operations, to ensure PeopleSoft HCM and DIFS Integrations supports internal needs relating to functionality and performance.

  • 11 years of Extensive experience in Testing PeopleSoft HCM applications.
  • 11 years of Extensive experience in Testing PeopleSoft Payroll jobs

  • 11-15 yrs. adapting functional business requirements/processes to technical solutions based upon enterprise application solution sets
  • 11-15 yrs. experience with one or more of following: investment analysis, data warehousing, e-commerce, ROI analysis, HR analysis, info dissemination
  • 11-15 yrs. experience with ERP management processes such as knowledge mgmt., supply chain mgmt., material mgmt., logistics, and procurement
  • Bachelordegree in IT or related field or equivalent experience

Highly desired skills:

  • Highly desired (not required): 6 years of Federal and/or State and/or Local Governments experience.
