Interview Type: Skype *** Remote project ** Part time - flexible hours - about 5-10 hours per week

The scope of services under this WOC is as follows:

• Provide consultations and solution recommendation for Bentley Assetwise (TransInfo) implementation or data models
• Understand Transportation data and Linear Reference System/Measurement (LRM).
• Identify, define and determine the requirements for TransInfo network and asset data architecture.
• Conduct and support data cleanup activities
• Publish and/or present design reports
• Identifying areas for improvement in current systems
• Coordinating with other team members to reach project milestones and deadlines
• Provide consultation and data analysis to support data integrity and reporting
• Create and support the creation of functional specifications for interfaces data models, extracts and reports
• Prepare test data, write queries, and support testing activities including creating test plans and test cases; test the new system
• Contribute to data integration activities
• Create implementation documentation and support the implementation process.
• Understand the business requirements and translate them into Conceptual, Logical and Physical models
• Uses a variety of information gathering techniques (e.g., interviews, facilitation, diagrams) to gather complex business data requirements from Business teams
• Coordinate data models, data dictionaries, and other database documentation across multiple applications
• Leads design reviews of data deliverables such as models, data flows, and data quality assessments
• Perform data analysis, discovery, profiling and identify the cause of data issues and work with the broader team to resolve
• Develop a solid understanding of the various source data sets and assist in laying out the overall data design solutions
• Represent the organization to engage with internal & external stakeholders to develop optimal data strategy
• Effectively leverage various data technologies in addressing specific business problems and integrate into overall data architecture
• Engage and build strong working relationships with IT, Business and Sourcing partners

Required Skills

• 8 years experience
• Data lead/architect experience
• SQL, data analysis

Desired Skills

• Linear Reference System/Measurement (LRM)
