Required skills:

  • 6 years experience
  • Highly professional position providing operational supervision and leadership to Service Desk, Nagios, Centrify, Capacity Management, and Compliance Management roles. Services include working with SDC Bureau Chiefs and Platform Managers to support internal operations as well as multiple state agencies customers.
  • Work requires the development and execution of detailed operational plans for improved processes to realize cost efficiencies and operational effectiveness within and across agencies. Working with Interdepartmental team members on disparate but interrelated projects, provide effective leadership and innovative solutions for improved operational effectiveness, cost-efficiency and customer service and then develop partnered plans to pursue identified change strategies
  • Manage the Interdepartmental team project business processes that can be used to build, acquire, expose or reuse interdepartmental services (within and across agencies). Find commonalities in business models and synergistic opportunities (consolidation or capitalization) among new or ongoing SDC initiatives to take advantage of existing investments or conversely when doing something new ensuring that, where possible, solutions can be leveraged by multiple agency customers.
  • Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of staff in the SDC that are responsible for Service Desk, Centrify, Capacity Management, Nagios, and Compliance Management roles. Formulate policies/procedures/work instructions for managing daily operations. Plan the use of materials and human resources. Ensure accountability for program area success. Establish and report metrics that demonstrate progress toward goals. Escalate issues as necessary to the ITSM Bureau Chief.
