This niche role requires a background/exp; the team estimates this part of the project can be completed in approx 13 weeks (at 40/hrs week). Pls make sure your candidate is aware before submitting. 

DBHDS OneMind team seeks an experienced Cerner Millennium Patient Access and Insurance processing Consultant for the DBHDS OneMind Team. 

Key Requirements/ Expert Level with experience in:

  • - Person Management and Registration and Billing Interface to/from Cerner Millennium EHR from a 3rd Party vendor (Avatar preferred)
  • - Cerner Millennium Behavioral Health and Long Term Patient management experience
  • - Cerner Millennium Medicare Part D processing
  • - Cerner Millennium Registration via interface
  • - Cerner Millennium Insurance processing from a third party
  • - Cerner Millennium E&M Billing & Reimbursement
  • - Knowledge of Openlink Integration Engine

Responsibilities:

  • Provide application consulting based on experience for Cerner Millennium Registration / Person Management, Insurance Processing, billing and reimbursement
  • Maintain and build Cerner PM Conversations as needed
  • Work with team to troubleshoot interface issues as needed
  • Analyze service requests, and make recommendations related to best practices
  • Follow client’s documented Change Management process to obtain approval for changes.
  • Build application changes in Test, work with user to complete testing, and move to production according to the client’s change control process.
  • Provide support for projects and other special application initiatives
  • Troubleshoot complex user errors and provide timely and high quality customer service
  • Document issues and solutions
  • Participate in the day to day tracking and follow-up on issues and questions of daily operations
  • Validate and support system testing efforts
  • Work with client users and functional teams as needed
  • Escalate issues to the vendor as needed, and monitor vendor tickets for resolution
  • Utilize the ticket management system to track issue status and work volume
  • 5+ years’ experience in support and build of Cerner Person Management (PM), build & maintenance of PM conversations and rules
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to communicate resolutions to customers
  • Prefer prior experience working remotely to provide production support
  • In depth knowledge of patient registration workflows required
