Data Clean Up

• Assist in identifying the data clean-up opportunities; identify method to clean-up the data; define the estimated time frame for manual clean up and identify the skills/resources required to extract and correct the data.
• Communicate with the appropriate departments to correct the data prior to the conversion.
• Help manage the clean-up process with the different areas, validating data has been corrected and is ready for conversion.
• Review final products.

Identify Offline workarounds

• Assist in interviewing BWC departments to identify all Access, Excel, SharePoint or other workarounds that have been developed to accomplish their daily tasks.
• Work with the software vendor to determine how the identified workarounds will be addressed in the Core System.

Identify System Workarounds

• Assist in interviewing BWC departments to identify workaround processes that have been developed to accomplish their daily tasks. This includes all known system interfaces or individual interfaces employees have created to accomplish their duties. Items such as audit upload, etc.
• Work with the software vendor to determine how the identified workarounds will be addressed in the Core System.

Identify Reports (current vs. needed)

• Assist in interviewing BWC departments identifying existing reports. Document how reports are utilized, if they contain all the information needed and whether any reports can be combined and or eliminated.
• Identify where report data is housed, how often updated.
• Identify report frequency weekly, monthly, daily (real time/on demand reporting).

Testing

• Assist in writing system verification test scripts
• Assist in test script execution and verification.
• Support the identification and documentation of test defects.

Required skills:

• 5 years of Experience analyzing data and identifying data clean-up opportunities, ETL
• 5 years of Experience analyzing and documenting system workflows
• 5 years of Experience in identifying and documenting reporting needs (current vs. needed)
• 5 years of Testing: Writing, executing and verifying test scrips, identification and documentation of test defects.
