*** Very long term project; initial PO till 6/30/2021 but expected to go for 3+ years ***Webcam interview; initial remote due to covid then onsite *** 37.5 hours per week

 supporting and upgrading applications built using .NET Frameworks 2.0 through version 4.7, VB.NET, C#.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET CORE, Entity Framework, and SQL Server 2012.

The selected candidates will focus primarily on upgrading existing applications to comply with OWASP secure coding practices.  

Required:

 

  • Development of Information Technology solutions  7+  years
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or newer  7+ years
  • .NET Frameworks 2.0 through version 4.7, VB.NET, C#.NET, ASP.NET, MVC  7+ years
  • .NET CORE  2+ years 
  • UI Design (HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery)  3+ Years
  • Visual Studio 2013 or newer  7+ Years
  • Azure DevOps

 

  • preferred - Familiar with SAST and DAST scanning tools, i.e. Veracode, AppScan, AppSpider

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Analyze SAST and DAST scan reports, remediate vulnerabilities using OWASP recommendations, identify false positives.
  • Write database functions and stored procedures. Create database tables and views as needed.
  • Participate in structured code reviews / walkthroughs.
  • Utilizes configuration management tools, design tools, and debugging tools.
  • Ability to work with environment-specific tools necessary to create, test, and implement an application.
  • Work in an agile team environment.
  • Manage and complete assigned tasks in Azure DevOps
  • Strong communication skills; both written and spoken 
  • All positions are onsite positions. The remote work is to be considered temporary, due to the Coronavirus.  All positions are required to report on site at the Rachel Carson State Office Building or the Department of Agriculture immediately if/when restrictions are lifted.  
  • All positions will have a 37.5 hour work week. 

 

The Conservation and Delivery Center requires resources to reside within 100 miles of the worksite for the following reasons:

 

  • They will be required to report onsite on or before the agreed upon start date to receive a computer/laptop and other essential items.  
  • They may be required to be onsite for emergencies and/or any other unexpected issues that may arise.
