**** Very long term project; initial PO for 3 years but expected to go for multiple years *** Webcam interview*** 2 days travel per month within state is required; expenses will be paid
Common work tasks include:
· Assist with configuration and installation of new Avaya systems
· Check health of Avaya environment including trunking and adjunct systems
· Work trouble and programming tickets
· Acting as tier III support for more complicated troubles
· Work with Telecom providers to address circuit issues
· Deployment of new products and technologies in the Avaya portfolio
Candidates must possess:
· Minimum of 15 years of experience with Avaya systems
· Experience with the following Avaya products:
o Communication Manager 7.1.3
o Session Manager 7.1.3
o Call Management System R18
o System Manager 7.1.3
o Work Force Optimization 15.2
· Experience with the following equipment:
o Avaya G650/450/430s
o Spira SBCs
· In depth knowledge and experience with real-time communications, voice, and video protocols including H.323 and SIP
· Knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, WAN technologies, and QoS
Candidates should be able to:
· Be able to communicate with vendors and customers in a professional manner
· Create accurate documentation for user consumption on new products and services that are rolled out
· Train junior level staff on Avaya technologies
Preference will be given to candidates that possess the following:
· Broadsoft Hosted VoIP products
· Ability to automate routine tasks via python scripting
