Required Skills

• 3 years of relevant experience working in a large, complex network environment
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN, and MAN design and support
• Knowledge of data transport such as MPLS and metroethernet
• Knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
• Knowledge of TCP/IP
• Knowledge of vlans, 802.1q trunking
• Knowledge of wireless networking
• Knowledge of voip design and support
• Knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, NTP, DNS, MLLP, NDM
• Experience with security and data classification related to CDC, HIPAA, and CJIS
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools such as solarwinds
• Knowledge of network access control (NAC)
• Knowledge of security standards such as NIST
• Knowledge of compliance requirements such as PCI and HIPAA
• Skilled in managing multiple connections to service providers
• Skilled in managing multiple projects at the same time
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to work multiple tasks with competing priorities
• Ability to work both solo and in a team environment
