Job description:
**** Onsite - No remote ** Webcam interview; very long term project; initial PO for 1 year with multiyear extensions ***
Responsibilities Include:
- v Support
- DB2 LUW software installation, configuration, and maintenance of the database environments, UAT, Staging and Production
- Deployment of Vendor developed scripts into UAT, Staging and Production environments
- Problem analysis and resolution working with the Vendor and BEST Application Hosting Group
- Monitoring of DB2 LUW environments
- Performance analysis and tuning of the DB2 LUW
- Change management processes
- v Documentation
- Create, modify and maintain DB2 LUW Database and technology process flow diagrams
- Create, modify and maintain DB2 LUW Database support procedures
Required Skills/Experience:
- 6 years experience
- DB2 LUW database administration on Redhat Linux
- DB2 LUW experience in SQL performance analysis and tuning
- Experience with DB2 LUW HADR implementations and operations
- Experience in Redhat Linux OS and shell scripting
- Experience in DB2 LUW database replication methods
- Experience with DB2 LUW version 11.1 11.5
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Data warehousing, Linux, Python, Windows 10
Optional Skills/Experience:
- Experience with DB2 LUW and PureScale implementations and operations
