Job description:
**** Federal/DoD Contract - Must be a US Citizen; must be willing to go through a background check *** 100% Onsite - No remote due to security***Initial PO till 9/30/2020 with multi year extensions; usually the project goes for 4+ years with this customer**
*** Customer works on 4/10 schedule. The standard work week consist of ten (10) hours of work between 6:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. with one half hour designated as an unpaid period for lunch, Monday through Thursday ***
- Thorough knowledge of Windows x64 & x86 based client and server systems running on various hardware and virtual platforms.
- Provide Tier-2 troubleshooting support, working with the user support team and the operations staff to effectively manage and communicate issues and perform problem analysis to resolution on a 24/7 schedule.
Required Skills
- Minimum AA degree in Information Technology related field or technical/trade school degree/certification in Information Technology related field.
- Minimum two years’ experience supporting Windows x64 & x86 based clients and/or servers.
- Minimum two years’ experience with IT customer support
- Minimum of two years’ experience supporting and troubleshooting Office365 environments.
- Minimum of two years’ experience supporting and troubleshooting Virtual Desktop Interface environments.
- Minimum of two years’ experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows workstation and laptop environments.
- Minimum of two years’ experience supporting and troubleshooting kiosk environments.
- Minimum of two years’ experience supporting and troubleshooting mobile device environments.
- Ability to provide support during non-standard business hours and be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as needed or as scheduled.
- Ability to communicate technical/complex information both verbally and in writing.
- Attention to detail and exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively prioritize and execute tasks
