looking for a SAP ABAP Consultant, Solutions Architect. The ideal candidate oversees the day to day development of applications, including software design, coding, testing, debugging, and requirements documentation Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into system/technical solution is key to be successful in this role. Experience with Data Migration and Cleansing a plus.

Overall Experience level: At least 5 years of in-depth knowledge and experience with SAP ABAP development

As a SAP ABAP Consultant, you will

  • Deliver innovative solutions in business consulting, business process design, application design and system integration supporting multi-national corporations.
  • This role requires a high level of technical complexity. Knowledge of SAP Database structures/tables for various functional modules required.
  • Have deep, practical expertise required within SAP ABAP including, but not limited to:
  • Interface programs
  • ABAP custom reports
  • User Exits/ Enhancements
  • RFCs
  • BADIs
  • Smart Forms/Adobe Interactive Forms
  • Web Dynpro for ABAP
  • SAP Objects
  • Extractors
  • Possess Extensive knowledge of Data Migration related development.
  • Experience with design, development, and testing of additional programs that may be required to enhance the existing SAP product functionality
  • Knowledgeable in business processes, configuration and integration with multiple SAP modules such as SAP PP, QM, MM and WM. 
  • Ability to perform all tasks in the development cycle, starting from business strategy, business process definition, to configuration and unit testing, assistance and follow-up with user testing, to co-ordination of transports to Production, to training and post-live support and fixes.
  • Strong communication skills.  Able to discuss issues with functional team in simple language, as well as discuss in depth technical issues with other developers. 

Requirements:

  • Ability to travel to client locations
  • English speaking and writing
  • Ability to get security clearance for aerospace/defense

Top 3 must have:

  • At least 5 years of in-depth knowledge and consulting experience in SAP ABAP
  • At least 2 years of experience with ABAP development related to Data Cleansing and Conversion
  • Experience in discreet manufacturing

Good to have:

  • A&D, CPG, Retail or High Tech Industry experience preferred
  • Build professional relationships with clients, management and team members to ensure delivery of proposed solutions, support for development of business possibilities and for personal development
  • Contribute to high productivity and motivation of working team with the use of your communication skills and cooperation; reach and realize project aims and outputs
