Required Skills:

The CONSULTANT will be responsible for collecting requirements, designing and developing enhancements or modifications to the City s PeopleSoft Enterprise Resource Planning Applications.  The consultant must be adept at providing technical services in implementation, configuration, development and support for the following PeopleSoft applications: HCM, Financials and Supply Chain Management. The CONSULTANT will be responsible for custom development of applications and building integrations to other systems using the PeopleSoft development tool set, as well as modification to existing interfaces and custom objects.The consultant must have working experience in PeopleSoft Applications version 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.56 and higher.

Responsibilities:

• Design and development of effective, sustainable and reliable software.
• Active participation in a team based, scrum development environment in a leadership capacity.
• Unit testing of their developed software prior to testing by the quality assurance team members.
• Correction of defects identified through their unit testing or through quality assurance team member testing.
• Analyzing and understanding business users requirements, clarifying inconsistencies, conflicts, or ambiguities, to effectively model business processes in software.
• Development and implementation of enterprise level software components and services, to reduce the overall costs of solution development.
• Documents software designs, applications support requirements, application configuration information, as required.
