Role & Responsibilities:

• Following CITY GISs best practices and standards, perform a broad range of GIS data management, analysis and mapping activities to support multiple projects that are associated with planning, building permits, code enforcement, or animal care services
• Following CITYs and industry best practices and standards, design and implement GIS solutions and web applications to meet CITYs project requirements; 
• Coordinate with the CITY business stakeholders and GIS team members to propose GIS solutions, manage project timelines, and implement deliverables
• Communicate effectively both orally and in written in a variety of situations and formats; document project requirements, technical solutions, and knowledge transfer information. 

Minimum Skills Required:

• Minimum of 5 years of GIS working experience using Esri suite of products, specifically, Esri ArcMap version 10.5 and above, ArcGIS Pro version 2.2 and above, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise platform
• Working experience creating web applications using a variety of Esri ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online options
• Working experience implementing GIS mapping solutions and automation to improve efficiency
• Working experience with SDE spatial and materialized database views on Oracle and SQL Server database
• Working knowledge in local government, especially providing GIS support to land use planning and permitting operation
• Excellent business problem solving skills and demonstrated abilities in proposing solutions
• Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
• Experience working in an agile project management framework
