Job description:
** Onsite - No remote **
Desired skills and certification:
- At least 5 years PM experience with a variety of technology projects such as:
- Manage security and network engineers for switch and firewall installations and configurations in an ongoing production environment
- Hardware & software deployments across multiple sites for various County departments with minimal end-user impact and downtime
- Server decommissions and/or upgrades with coordinated application migrations
- Network expansion (wireless and/or fiber) in both new facilities and in production environments
- Effective communication to key stakeholders
- Excellent documentation skills required
- Experience with project risk assessment and issue mitigation, project reporting, escalation
- Ensure projects are tracked, managed and reported according to best practice and standards, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives of the PMO and ISD
- Experience working alongside a PMO environment is desired
- Familiarity with infrastructure technology
- PMP Certification preferred
