The .Net Developer position requires in-depth knowledge of the full range of Legacy and Emerging products within the Microsoft .NET Stack, including but not limited to .NET 1.1 through .NET 4.6, .NET CORE, Xamarin, MS SQL Server 2000 through MS SQL Server 2016, Azure SQL, Azure App Services and Windows Server 2000 through Windows Server 2016.

Detailed responsibilities include:

  • Work collaboratively with a variety of individuals to design and develop custom and COTS software applications.  
  • Work with project managers, users, and stakeholders in other District and Federal Agencies and others to design user centric web and mobile applications.
  • Stays abreast of industry trends related to software development, UI/UX design, and identifies new tools and technologies to leverage for user-centric design
  • Expertly documents code using internal comments, system diagrams, flow diagrams, and other external documents
  • Provides technical knowledge and support to District agencies, personnel, and additional stakeholders
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • 11 Years of C# and .NET Programming Experience 
  • 11 Years of Experience in development tools like Visual Studio, GitHub for source code Management 
  • 11 Years of Intermediate level experience with Microsoft office suite. 
  • 11 Years of 11-15 yrs conveying technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty 
  • 11 Years of 11-15 yrs preparing complex technical documentation 
  • 8 Years of Experience designing and development using IIS 
  • 8 Years of Database development experience (SQL/ORACLE/MongoDB) 
  • 8 Years of Experience Creating SQL queries  
  • 8 Years of Experience designing, developing, and testing custom software. 
  • 6 Years of Frontend GUI Development Experience 
  • 5 Years of Experience developing using HTML5, CSS3.0 
  • 5 Years of Experience developing using JavaScript, ECMA Script, jQuery, and Bootstrap 
  • 5 Years of Experience developing using Web APIs 
  • 3 Years of Experience developing using .NET CORE 2.X, .NET CORE MVC 2.x 
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience 

Highly Desired Skills:                                                                                                               

  • 3 Years of Experience in Node JS, Express JS, React JS,
  • 3 Years of Cloud Experience in AWS, AZURE
