Duties

• Cognos 11 models, reports and dashboards
•  Migration of Cognos 10.2 products to Cognos 11
• Requirements, designs, and test plans for BI products
• Source data analysis and mapping
•  Technical documentation as required by program standards
• End-user documentation as required

Required Skills

• 8 years Cognos
• experience with  Migrating Cognos 10.2 artifacts to Cognos 11 preferred
• Design new reports and dashboards in Cognos 11 as required
• documentation
• requirement analysis
• data analysis and mapping.
• Create metadata documentation for migrations and new artifacts. 
• At least 5 years Cognos 10.1/2, utilizing Query, Reports, Analysis, Event, and Workspace Advanced Studios
• At least 6 months Cognos 11 development experience
• Significant experience in OLAP solutions using Cognos Impromptu, Transformer, Power  Play, Cube Design
• Demonstrated facility to write and debug PL/SQL and SQL for quick turn-around requirements
•  Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience using ERwin, SSIS, TOAD, etc.
