Cloud & Storage Engineer

Location: Fort Myers, FL

Duration: 6 months Contract to Hire

Job Description: 

9+ years of experience with Linux or Windows system administration

3-5 years of experience with web-based services and applications

Knowledge of client/server and distributed systems / Cloud architecture patterns

Demonstrated experience with advanced storage principals, including database storage design, storage virtualization, software-defined storage, hyper-converged infrastructure, and data center replication technologies and concepts.

Experience with Storage Automation and Configuration Management concepts and techniques

NAS and Fibre Channel SAN knowledge

Knowledge and experience using BUR solutions (i.e. Commvault, EMC, Veritas, etc.)

Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills and experience

Experience scripting (i.e. bash, Python, PowerShell etc.)

Knowledge of large-scale storage architectures and backup/DR strategies

Experience troubleshooting filesystem, block, and object storage

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong multi-tasking skills
