seeking a Senior Performance Engineer to measure, analyze, monitor, manage, and optimize performance and scalability of our web based court application. The candidate will work with development and QA teams to design, architect and develop performance testing projects, lead the implementation and recommend improvements to remediate performance issues within a new infrastructure. You will create automated test suites that are robust and reusable on multiple environments. 

Responsibilities:

  • •        Conduct end to end performance and load testing of a complex C#/.Net, ASP/Angular JS applications and suggest remediation strategies
  • •        Baseline an existing environment and conduct load and endurance testing to evaluate a new infrastructure and scalability needs.
  • •        Troubleshoot performance issues across the entire stack: hardware, software, application and network
  • •        Uncover application bottlenecks and facilitate resolution with development, QA, DBA and/or IT teams
  • •        Develop load/performance test plan and provide metrics / reports on each testing cycle to various audiences, technical and non-technical
  • •        Review capacity plans and production usage statistics to create suitable usage profile and breakpoint analysis to ensure acceptable levels of performance

Required Skills:

  • •        Proven ability to measure, analyze, manage and optimize performance for complex web-based applications.
  • •        5+ years of relevant experience and/or working in a performance engineer capacity
  • •        Must have experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter (Preferred), Gatling, Visual Studio
  • •        Demonstrated ability to analyze performance test result and identify bottlenecks in server-side and web applications
  • •        Ability to write code in C#, Java or other common programming language (4+ years of relevant experience preferred)
  • •        Demonstrated understanding of MS SQL Server and experience with complex SQL and Transact-SQL
  • •        In-depth knowledge of scalability concepts and development methodologies to validate system capabilities
  • •        Understanding of web application and browser concepts, such as HTTP concepts, cookies and caching, indexDb, Angular JS
  • •        Experience in API testing, Web Services, REST API
  • •        Ability to work with minimal supervision, manage priorities, and stay organized
  • •        Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally, and work well with a team-oriented environment
  • •        Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • •        Positive and effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • •        Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams during issue resolution.
  • •        Excellent attention to detail and follow-through skills.
  • •        Ability to rapidly understand new system architecture and functionality.
  • •        Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or similar (or equivalent experience)
