Position: IAM Consultant

Location: Boston, MA

Duration: 12 Months

Intermediate-level understanding of computer security concepts including Identity & Access Management, Network Security, Application Security, and Incident Management

7+ Years in IT Security environment or equivalent

3+ Years of SOC or Incident Response experience

A moderate understanding of networking concepts and protocols (such as DNS, SMTP, FTP, SSL, etc.)

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of information technology industry trends and emerging technologies and an ability to relate them to the company and its objectives

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Intermediate knowledge of tools and products used in day-to-day performance of job responsibilities (e.g., Sourcefire, SIEM)

Excellent aptitude for problem solving and IT Security

Familiar with IT Regulations, PCI/Sarbanes-Oxley/Mass Privacy laws

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Relevant industry certification a preferred (GCIA, GCIH, GREM, GCFA, CEH)

Experience understanding operational and security requirements and translation of those requirements into technical IAM capabilities. We’ve a particular interest in candidates with hands-on experience with IBM Security Identity and Access Management Suite, Sailpoint IIQ, Cyber Ark and CA Siteminder

8+ years of experience with large scale firewall architecture, design, testing, development, migration, and integration

Experience with COTS NGFW infrastructure technologies for both on-premises and cloud deployments

Ability to be hands–on and configure firewall rule sets and objects in an enterprise environment is required.

Knowledge of industry best practices for designing, implementing, and maintaining firewall, intrusion detection/prevention, and security and service availability throughout the system life cycle

Operational experience with firewall technologies, including hardware refresh, software testing, software upgrades, and complex troubleshooting techniques

Experience using network management tools and packet capture analysis to resolve operational issues
