Position: Robotic Process Automation- Process Consultant/SME
Location: Hartford, CT
Duration: 6+ Months
Expertise: Subject Matter Expert
The RPA Process Analyst will be a key resource within the Central Robotic Automation Program Management office and will provide subject matter expertise on complex robotics process automation (RPA) initiatives. S/he will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and advise on business processes to define RPA solutions that support and enhance new & emerging enterprise initiatives. S/he will provide direction to RPA resources on the development and implementation of RPA solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with business closely, analyze, observe and understand process steps, interdependencies, and applications used to complete business transactions.
- Creates detailed process assessment documents with all the related information, which serves as the guide to downstream bot development activity
- Documents complex processes highlighting compliance requirements and other key business considerations
- Triages business requests for automation using standard proprietary criteria and identifies “RPA fit” candidate processes
- Identifies process gaps and provides recommendations to alter or reengineer processes prior to automation
- Provides advisory services to key stakeholders on the potential benefits of automation and organization readiness required to accept the automation transformation
- Provides guidance on the right automation platform for process automation based on the Process – considering process type, complexity, platform capabilities etc.
- Completes all standard templates including high-level design documents to ensure all business scenarios in scope to be configured into RPA.
- Creates detailed exception scenarios – business / data exceptions that bot design needs to incorporate
- Guide / Participate in the project planning of RPA initiatives
- Support business and technical teams during robotic projects and mitigate / resolve risks and issues that may impact project schedule, cost, scope, quality etc.
- Keeps abreast of latest trends / solutions in robotic automaton and advise leadership on potential benefits
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Technology
Six Sigma certification preferred
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business / client facing roles directly responsible for BPM/BPI/BPR (Required)
1+ years of experience in Robotic Process Automation and leading implementation of 2 or more RPA projects (Required)
Experience with multiple industry leading RPA platforms, capabilities and features (Required)
Excellent oral and written communication skills (Required)
Experience leading discussions with business and IT as part of conference room pilots
