Duties

• Identification of risks associated with the area of Data Architecture and the development of mitigation  plans to address those identified risks throughout the life of the contract. 
• Take day to day direction from the Project’s  Track Manager and work with the STeam to support all activities related to the Project’s development and maintenance of its data architecture. 
•  Assist in planning, strategy, and execution activities related to the technical aspects of the project. The DA Contractor will work with the Project Team to review, support the production of, and execute strategic plans or documents related to the technical aspects of the Project as directed by the SDS Track Manager. 
• Facilitate meetings, promote teamwork and collaboration, and provide training as needed. 
•  Support change management activities. 
• Perform other duties as assigned by the SDS Track Manager, Project Director and/or their designee(s). 
• Complete transition services including facilitating lessons learned meetings and creating a lessons learned document related to this SDS DA Support Services contract. Transition services also include providing all of the documents, software, software licenses and other Project artifacts to the Project Team as it relates to the work performed under this contract. 

Required Skills

• Demonstrated understanding and implementation of DA standards and principles contained in an industry-recognized EA framework (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF) 
• Demonstrated experience leading data conversion initiatives in complex organizations 
• Demonstrated experience leading data quality assessments for large and complex data sets 
• Possesses a minimum of seven (7) years’ professional experience performing activities directly related to DA 
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and Visio 
• Proficient in the use of data modeling tools and techniques 
• Familiarity with project management life cycles in relation to DA initiatives 
•  Demonstrated experience supporting DA activities for a financial ERP implementation or a similarly-sized transformative technology project 
• •Experience working with public sector entities 
• Experience with architecting data warehouse and data mart solutions 
• Experience with architecting business intelligence solutions
