Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of leading technologies, market trends and technical solutions.
- Collaborates with senior leaders for executive steering committees.
- Ability to manage third party vendors.
- Ability to adapt to other people's view.

- Complete oversight of all monitoring tools.
Knowledge & experience:
- Bachelor degree in business or information systems.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with monitoring cloud based environments preferably within AWS.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with Experience with:
- Monitoring tools in a large enterprise (DataDog, New Relic, Dynatrace, Gomez, ThousandEyes, Cloud Watch, Solar Winds, Nagios Core, Nagios XI, Topaz, EM7, Zenoss)
- Centralized logging (Sumologic, Splunk, etc.)
- Implementing automated event correlation systems
- Scripting/software development for Engineering tasks automation
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Metric gathering (Graphite)
- Architecting complete enterprise monitoring solutions
- Metric visualizations (Graphene, Cacti, etc)
- Proven internal and external influencing skills at senior and executive management levels.
- Previous experience in one or more of network testing, test automation, network monitoring systems, large scale systems configuration management.
- Experience developing network software components based on SNMP and NetFlow protocols.
- Working level knowledge with one or more of: (Python, Perl, shell scripting, PowerShell, etc.)
- Self-motivated and independently minded.
Additional desired skills:
- Experience integrating software and services using common API techniques (SOAP, REST, XML)
- Experience with network vendor scripting protocols and interfaces (preferably Juniper XML API/SLAX, Cisco Python/POAP, F5 iControl).
