Responsibilities:
Conduct requirement gathering sessions with business.
Produce the requirement documentation (Functional and non-functional).
Requirement analysis.
Co-ordinate with IT team during Integration and System testing & Business team during User Acceptance testing.
Conducts or directs complex research within and/or externally to obtain information such as product or market profiles or business process flows.
Conduct interviews to gather data if information is not readily available.
Experience in creating BRDs and SRD
Required Experience
Mid-level Data Analyst who can conduct analysis of systems to support reporting metrics based on definitions and cross verify with other available regional or global Marts and systems.
This analysis will be for Quote and Submissions – so experience in P&C Insurance industry is critical
Expertise in SQL
Bachelor or Master’s degree. MBA preferred.
At least 5+ years of overall experience in Commercial Insurance with Property, Auto, Specialty, Accident/health and Liability line of business in Underwriting, Pricing & Risk analysis domain.
Knowledge of the business practice and processes
Excellent Communication and Technical writing skills.
Should be able to drive group of people (Business, IT and QA) in deriving a common conclusion in requirement gathering sessions/workshops
Ability to work independently and lead others during projects
Proficiency with spreadsheets, data base software, Visio and MS Project (or other process mapping and project management software
